Having completed a Bachelor of Science degree in economics at the University of Connecticut with relevant coursework encompassing data analysis, financial economics, and computer science, I am pursuing a career where I can use my existing technical and analytical talents while expanding my skillset to accommodate the practical needs of a contemporary business.

My technical strengths include scripting and automation in several programming languages, statistical analysis, data cleaning, and operations research with data envelopment analysis. I have an advanced understanding of Microsoft Office Excel including advanced formulas (VLOOKUP and logical operations), pivot tables, and VBA macros. I have history working with code in common programming languages as well as experience with systems administration in Linux environments.

Agricultural Productivity in the United States

Applying operations research with data envelopment analysis to the agricultural sectors of each state

Tasked with analyzing the agricultural output of each state in the US, I employed a method of determining how efficiently each producer used its resources in called data envelopment analysis to compare the production efficiencies of each state.

Data envelopment analysis is a method used in operations research to compare a producer's measured inputs and outputs against a theoretical efficiency ceiling. This benchmark, called the "production frontier," is derived from the measured capabilities of its peers.

Home Lab/Server Project

Clean & Minimalistic Design

For several years I have maintained a server computer at home to use as a testing platform for learning and practicing new technologies. I recently migrated all active services to a new custom built machine.

Currently on this system I am hosting an apache2 web server (home to this website), a SQL server, local Network Attached Storage, and several home automation scripts scheduled to run automatically with crontab.
